Michaela Morgan is a winning children’s author who has written many successful books for children over the past 30 years.
Her latest work includes Knock Knock!, a funny and charming “lift-the-flaps” book helping to introduce a baby to a young family. Touching and amusing, the book combines repetition, discovery and fun in a read-aloud and explore format.
Michaela works across the whole range of children’s age groups. In the last few months she has also published Walter Tull’s Scrapbook, about the World War One football and war hero for older children and young adults, and Charming!, a re-telling of the Cinderella story in a dyslexia-friendly tale of dance, doubt and success set in a modern secondary school. Michaela’s published work includes junior fiction, picture books, poetry and non-fiction.
She is an award-winning author having been a World Book Day recommended read, on the short list for the BBC Blue Peter Book Award and Children’s Book Award, named International Reading Association Children’s Choice, and winner of the United Kingdom Reading Association Award.
